CBS Cancels 'Unforgettable' (Again)
Well, looks like it's now two cancellations to go with the two renewals CBS made for 2015 earlier this week: after three seasons, the network has officially canceled Unforgettable, the procedural crime drama starring Poppy Montgomery. This marks the second time CBS has canceled the series.
Premiering in 2011, the drama started off to modest ratings, getting a full season order. However, ratings never really picked up, so the show was canceled in May 2012. However, in a rare reversal, CBS changed its mind and brought it back, moving it to the summer, where it managed to last another two seasons before the Grim Reaper of Television came calling.
Of course, it won't be alone on the cancellation pile, as we're less than 24 hours removed from CBS cancelling Reckless, the poorly-rated Southern legal drama. But it wasn't bad news for everybody, as Under the Dome and Extant were renewed for Summer 2015.
