When will two of the most popular reality competition series return to the airwaves? After what felt like an interminable wait, CBS finally announced the premiere dates for Survivor: Cagayan and The Amazing Race.

The new season of nine-time Emmy winner The Amazing Race, featuring 11 returning fan favorite teams, will premiere Sunday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, Survivor: Cagayan -- Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty will have its two-hour premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. ET. This will be the first two-hour season premiere since Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains back in 2010. Given that Heroes vs. Villains is one of the top Survivor seasons of all-time, I feel like this bodes well for Survivor: Cagayan as a season of high-stakes drama.

So, in short, bring on February already.
