On this episode, Nev and Max help actress Tracie Thoms uncover the secret behind one of her biggest superfans. This is an interesting episode in that it's not really about romance, but about trying to track down a Catfish to make sure she's okay, and to prevent her from catfishing anyone else. Still, between this and the previous two episodes, it feels more and more like people are using this show to get their names out there. And say what you will about suspension of disbelief, but I just want normal-ass people again.
But hey, this was still a pretty good episode. Lots of drama, naturally. I mean, if a Catfish is going to make up a personality and then KILL OFF that personality by faking cancer, drama is obviously going to ensue. Watch the full episode below:
Even though I wish we could get back to regular folks, I've been a fan of Tracie Thoms and her work for a while now, and I like her even more after this. So...mission accomplished?
