In perhaps the day's most inevitable news item, Nev and Max will be back!

Catfish: The TV Show has been renewed for a third season.

Since debuting on MTV in 2012, the show has become one of the network's most popular series, detailing the efforts of Nev Schulman and Max Joseph, who help people discover whether the subject of their online romance is really who they say they are.

The series is based on the 2010 documentary film Catfish, which saw Nev Schulman as the person being "catfished," or lied to online. The original film was directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, Nev's brother, who is now an executive producer on Catfish: The TV Show.
