Cat Deeley talks about 'Deadbeat' villain role and 'So You Think You Can Dance' - Interview

Cat Deeley is starring in the Hulu original series Deadbeat as a villain. She says that her role is a mix of Alexis Carrington Colby from Dynasty and Alan Rickman's Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.

"I'm a villain, nightmare from hell, bitch," she said in this interview at the So You Think You Can Dance Season 11 LA auditions set.

She also said that "Happy" by Pharrell Williams was influenced by her when talking about her favorite types on performances on SYTYCD, LOL.

Deadbeat premieres on April 9, 2014 on Hulu and you can check out some previews at hulu.com/deadbeat. It also stars Tyler Labine and Brandon T. Jackson (Grover from Percy Jackson & the Olympians).

So You Think You Can Dance comes back on FOX this summer on May 28, 2014.

Deadbeat

Deadbeat is an all new original comedy series. Kevin Pacalioglu (series star Tyler Labine) may have no money and no clue, but he can see dead people, so that’s pretty cool. Faced with a constant stream of stubborn spirits, Pac goes to whatever lengths require the least amount of effort to help New York City’s most frivolous ghosts finish their unfinished business.
