Carrie Underwood's 'Blown Away' Bows at #1 on Billboard; Marks Third Career Chart-Topper

A big congrats is in order for Country crooner Carrie Underwood! Her fourth studio album Blown Away dropped last week to mostly positive reviews. The final album sales numbers are in and it looks like she has a big celebration to plan. The new album moved 267,000 units, marking the third Billboard 200 No. 1 of her career.

She's only the third Country female to hold this achievement, following Linda Ronstadt and Faith Hill. Looks like she's in good company!

Previously, 2007's Carnival Ride bowed on top with 527,000 its first week and 2009's Play On sold 318,000 the first week out. Given the drop in album sales across the board -- with a few exceptions, of course -- this is quite impressive. You can purchase the album on iTunes.

The album's lead single "Good Girl" currently sits at No. 6 on the Mediabase Country charts.
