Carrie Underwood #3, Daughtry #42 on Billboard 200

The Eagles debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 after Billboard revised their chart rules. The Eagles CD is sold exclusively through Wal-Mart, and Billboard before last week did not accept numbers from CDs not available to general retail. I think the fact that the Eagles sold 711,000 CDs (making them clearly the #1 CD for the week) factored into the rule change. Britney Spears debuts at #2 with 290,000. It's interesting because Bo Bice did not chart last week because his CD was also sold through an exclusive channel. In the "comprehensive chart" (which essentially what the Billboard 200 is now) Bo Bice debuted at #91.
