Carrie Fisher Dead at 60, Stars Mourn Loss of Actress and Friend
Star Wars icon and film legend Carrie Fisher sadly passed away today at the age of 60, stemming from the heart attack she suffered last Friday.
Since her passing, countless fans, friends, and fellow actors have come forward to offer their memories and share in mourning their beloved princess. If nothing else, it's clear that Carrie Fisher was more to people than just Princess Leia. She was a funny, warm, wonderful whose activism for mental health was as big a contribution to her legacy as Star Wars, or her bestselling memoirs, or even her critically-acclaimed one-woman show, Wishful Drinking.
