Carly Smithson - "Blackbird" - American Idol 7 Top 11 - Video MP3

Carly Smithson performs "Blackbird" on American Idol Top 11

I thought that was great. Performance of the night for me... however...

Okay, Carly Smithson isn't trying to break into the industry -- she already had a major contract! Sigh. I see that she has been reading the blogs and it looks like the negative reaction is affecting her a bit. She sees herself as a black bird with a broken wing who's learning to fly again. Yeah, right. It was corny.

Anyway. Good luck Carly! We don't really hate you here, we love hate you. Mostly love.
