Carly Rae Jepsen Hits No. 1 with "Call Me Maybe" - Video

Carly Rae Jepsen and her catchy "Call Me Maybe" jumped up to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, knocking Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" out of the top spot after eight weeks.

Jepsen is the first solo female singer to hit the top spot with her debut chart single since Ke$ha sent her "Tik Tok" to No. 1 over two years ago.

Jepsen's song was also a hit in her native Canada, where it logged four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Canadian Hot 100 chart.
