Carly Rae Jepsen to Play Cinderella on Broadway

Starting in February, you can see Carly Rae Jepsen don some glass slippers on Broadway in the role of Cinderella.

The "Call Me Maybe" singer will be joining the cast of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella beginning on February 4, and will stay in the role for a full 12-weeks.

We imagine her hiring process went a little something like this: "Hey we just met you, and this is crazy, but be in our musical? Call us maybe?"

Jepsen will star alongside Fran Drescher, who is playing Cinderella's evil stepmother. Or stepmother depending on your point of view.

The Grammy nominee is no stranger to musical theatre, she also starred in high school productions of Annie, The Wiz and Grease.
