Canoe & Kayak Finals - M k-1 c-1 k-2 1000m w k-4 500m - London 2012 Olympics - Results
Rowing has given over to paddling at Eton Dorney. The Men's single & double kayak and single canoe 1000 meter races and the women's quadruple kayak at 500 meters were all contested for gold, silver and bronze at the London 2012 Olympics.
Here are your medal results:
Much like the rowing events, the canoe/kayak events take place in marked lanes on the lake and the boats race in a straight line, with the first crossing the finish line being the winner.
I was really surprised by just how fast these boats were moving, particularly the ones with more than one rower. Some of the races were extremely close, with the men's k-2 coming down to a photo finish.
