'Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro Arrested for DWI

TLC seems to be having a string of bad luck with its reality stars as of late.

The latest incident includes the Cake Boss himself -- Buddy Valastro -- who was pulled over by police and arrested for suspicion of DWI today (Nov. 13).

Valastro was arraigned in Manhattan after officers noticed him swerving through traffic.

Police say they followed Buddy's 2014 yellow Corvette for a bit and noticed that when he exited the vehicle his eyes were bloodshoot, his face flushed and he had difficulty remaining still.

After failing a breathalyzer test he was taken into custody, but not before allegedly telling officers, "You can't arrest me, I'm the Cake Boss."

The self-proclaimed Cake Boss did not enter a plea and is due back in court in January.

As he revealed of the incident in a statement, "Please know that I want to share and explain to you what happened today and I look forward to doing so at a later date. I appreciate your support and understanding as we handle things privately as a family."

"We are thankful no one was harmed. This is a personal matter for Buddy and his family," added the overworked PR person at TLC.
