Caitlyn Shadbolt sings 'Still Into You' on The X Factor Australia 2014 (VIDEO)

Caitlyn Shadbolt sang 'Still Into You' on The X Factor Australia 2014 Top 7 Show on September 21, 2014.

Did anyone else think this really wasn't bad? I mean, yeah, some of the top notes were dodgy, and she seemed really iffy on the choreography, but I thought this was right up Caitlyn's alley. Sure, she did some complaining about not getting a country song, which prompted me to wonder why they didn't just give this a country arrangement (this is a song where a countrified take would have absolutely worked, in my opinion). But I don't think this was too far outside her wheelhouse, as I thought she mostly did a good job. The song might have benefited from being in a slightly lower key to prevent her voice from getting so thin on those higher notes, but I thought this was perfectly fine. Caitlyn is somebody who always seems to give it her all, so it's kind of hard for me not to root for her, at some level. Will she win? Well, no. But I have no problem with her still being here.

But what do you think of Caitlyn Shadbolt?
