Burger King Wants to Buy Elvis Presley's Former Home

The bigwigs behind Burger King are trying to buy the former Beverly Hills home of Elvis Presley because they want to be able to have their Burger King mascot share a home with the King? Or something.
Nailed it!
A letter was recently obtained by TMZ for the purchase of the 5,367 square foot home which reads, "This would be a fast closing within three days and we would be happy to provide you with proof of funds upon request."
Said funds to owner Pete Morton would total $3.69 million but he has a deadline of midnight to accept the offer.
Furthermore, Burger King promises that if the sale were to go through they would "preserve all residential historical value."
As the media mogul notes, this sudden interest (for a house that's not on the market no less) coincides awfully conveniently with the launch of BK's new sandwich the Big King.
Get it? Get it!?! You get it.
