Super Bowl XLVIII may be several months away, but the Halftime Show performer has already been set.

The Associated Press confirms that Bruno Mars will perform on the Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show, which is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The singer is more than qualified for the much-coveted spot: his latest album, “Unorthodox Jukebox,” is currently No. 9 on the Billboard charts. In addition, he’s had four No. 1 singles as a solo artist: “When I Was Your Man,” “Just The Way You Are,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” and “Grenade.” Mars was also featured on B.o.B’s “Nothin’ On You,” which went to No. 1 in 2010. It's unknown as of yet whether any additional performers will be added to the bill.
