Bruce Springsteen + Jimmy Fallon - Parody Christie's Bridgegate - Video

Like a bridge over troubled water, Chris Christie's Bridgegate scandal was mocked last night (Jan. 14) by Bruce Springsteen and Springsteen impersonator Jimmy Fallon.

We know "Bridge Over Troubed Water" isn't a Springsteen song, but we just really wanted to make a bridge joke, and the one about Bridget Kelly's suspiciously bridge-like name doesn't work so well in this instance.

In the sketch, Fallon and Springsteen took to the stage to sing a "Born to Run" parody (while dressed like old school Bruce Springsteen) about New Jersey governor's Chris Christie's so-called Bridgegate scandal.

You know, the one where his team created a four-day traffic jam to punish the mayor of Fort Lee for not endorsing him. Then held a two-hour press conference denying all involvement. Ugh.

For your daily laughs you can watch the video below, in which Bruce Springsteen parodies himself to perfection. It's a beautiful, beautiful thing.
