Happy 64th Birthday, Bruce Springsteen! - A Collection of Musical Moments

Bruce Springsteen - "Born In the U.S.A" - Video

In honor of the Jersey rocker's 64th birthday today, (September 23, 2013) take a look back at some of his more iconic music video and performance moments! Bruce Springsteen released his first album, Greetings From Asbury Park N.J. to much critical acclaim but slow sales. It was not until the launch of his breakthrough album, Born To Run,  in 1975 that The Boss and his E Street Band truly began their superstar legacy as arena rockers and champions of the working class.

I have seen the future of rock and roll, and its name is Bruce Springsteen.

That's a quote from John Landau's "Growing Young with Rock and Roll" article published in The Real Paper in 1974 at the start of Springsteen's career.  "The Promise" - 1978

"The River (Performance)" - 1980

"Born To Run (Performance)" - 1984

"Born In the U.S.A. (Performance) - 1984

"Dancing In The Dark" - 1984

"I'm On Fire" - 1986

"Tunnel Of Love" - 1987

"Streets Of Philadelphia" - 1993

"We Take Care Of Our Own" - 2012

Happy Birthday, Bruce Springsteen! Age 64 and still going as strong as ever!
