Britney Spears - Perfume - MP3 World Premiere

Here is the latest from Britney Spears. It is the second single from Britney Jean, entitled "Perfume." Is today the day of bad ballads?

First it was Lady Gaga and "Dope" and now its Britney with "Perfume."

I liked ballad Britney on 2011's Femme Fatale, but ballad Britney is not working here. There really isn't anything going on.

will.i.am is singlehandedly destroying Brit's career. We need a pop medic, ASAP. With R&B/urban starting to integrate back into the pop mainstream, we needed the second coming of Blackout. Sadly, I don't think we will find this in Britney Jean.

I do want to point out some good things though - her voice doesn't sound that bad....at all. When she's deeper it sounds so rich. Brit sounds good, y'all! But overall the production is blah, leaving the song to be blah. Why didn't we get the grit in the mid tempo like "Inside Out?" That could have worked. Anyway...listen:
