Britne Oldford Talks 'Ravenswood' Winter Finale - Interview
There is only one episode left of ABC Family's hit drama series Ravenswood before it goes on break until 2014. The mysteries are just getting started as the Winter finale quickly approaches. We recently had a chance to chat with Britne Oldford about her role as Remy Beaumont on Ravenswood.
She talks about her character's relationship with Luke, the Winter finale, and the mysterious pact and curse that follows the five teens around town like it's Final Destination.
In the last episode, we saw Remy’s relationship with Luke hit a bit of a roadblock. Will that relationship continue to evolve or does Remy have too much on her plate focusing on the curse?
Britne Oldford: I think that the curse is all consuming at the moment, and will continue to be. But the relationships with everyone do evolve and do grow, so I think that that’s definitely something that we’ll see in later episodes.
Will viewers continue to learn about the curse in the winter finale, and what the pact actually is?
Britne Oldford: We find out a lot more information about the pact and, perhaps, potential people who are involved in the mid-season or the winter finale. What is it like working so closely with Brett Dier?
Britne: Working with Brett is always so lovely. He’s an absolute riot on set, and we’re really good friends so it’s always a good time.
Is there anything that you can hint or tease about the mystery happening between Collins and Mrs. Grunwald?
Britne: There is a lot of mystery on them. Honestly, I have no idea. I know that they have a definite connection, and they are working together, but in regards to what they are working towards? I don’t know!
The character of Remy is perhaps the most intriguing and the one with additional ties to the curse on Ravenswood. What does her mother's time serving have to do with everything? Why is Remy sleepwalking? Will her investigations gets her into trouble?
Be sure to tune in to the Winter finale of Ravenswood Tuesday, November 19th on ABC Family.
