Bret Michaels to Guest Star on 'Revolution' As Himself

Every wonder what would happen to celebrities in an apocalypse? Well, turns out Bret Michaels gets to be the one that actually survived.
Bret Michaels will play a post-apocalyptic version of himself on NBC's Revolution and will also perform an acoustic rendition of Poison’s hit ballad “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” in an episode to air in 2014.
"Bret is truly a great guy," said Eric Kripke, creator and executive producer of Revolution. "I'm a huge fan of his music and I'm thrilled he's appearing on Revolution."
Of course, this isn't the first time Bret Michaels has gotten involved with NBC, having previously won Celebrity Apprentice. It's not any less of an amusing story though, just for the novelty of a post-apocalyptic genre story actually acknowledging what happened/didn't happen to celebrities following the cataclysm that sets the series in motion. (Now, to get Gary Busey to appear as himself on The Walking Dead...)
