Real Housewives of Beverly Hills breakout star and ex-wife to country singer LeAnn Rimes' husband Eddie Cibrian spoke to In Touch regarding the material of Rimes' new album, Spitfire.

The album's material is allegedly heavily inspired by Rimes' affair with Cibrian, the affair that inevitably broke up his marriage with Glanville. Here's what Brandi had to say:
LeAnn has a great voice, but she needs to work on her songwriting… She’s not going to win any fans by writing a song about breaking up a family. It’s old news — no one wants to hear you cry over getting everything you wanted.
Brandi continued to recite some lyrics from a track entitled "Borrowed" to In Touch:

I know you’re not mine, only borrowed/ ’Cause you already belong to her, at least, you said so/ But I’m starting to believe it ain’t the whole truth.

Glanville concluded with a piece of her signature brand of advice:
If LeAnn wants her career back, she needs better lyrics. These are the worst songs I’ve ever heard. No one wants to listen to this!
I may be biased because I get a real kick out of Brandi on The Real Housewives, but it is true that making a comeback in country music, a genre with an audience grounded in hometown roots and family values, will probably be a difficult task with an album entitled Spitfire filled with heartbreaking stories of falling in love with a married man on the set of a Lifetime movie called Northern Lights. Still, maybe Rimes' audience will find her vulnerability endearing… I tried. You can order Brandi's book, New York Times bestseller, Drinking and Tweeting on Amazon.
