Brad Paisley to judge 'Rising Star' on ABC - Report
Brad Paisley is set to judge ABC's new singing competition Rising Star.
Yay! How exciting.
Rising Star will utilize real-time voting via an app. The singers will sing in front of "a wall" of images of users voting for them in real time, essentially seeing how they are doing while they are performing.
The show is executive produced by Ken Warwick formerly of American Idol and Nicolie Yaron formerly of The Voice. What a combo!
The show premieres this summer Sunday, June 22 at 9 p.m. ET.
