Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown wants to change her name, reports TMZ.

She's been wanting to do so for some time, but her mother wouldn't allow it. She wants nothing to do with her father Bobby Brown. Now that Whitney has passed, she can change her name to: Kristina Houston.

Now that Whitney's gone, we're told the 19-year-old feels untethered -- and wants to finally change her name completely ... making it simply "Kristina Houston."
