Bobbi Kristina Brown confirms engagement to Whitney Houston's adopted son - Video

Bobbi Kristina Brown confirmed in a video preview for her new reality show The Houstons: On Our Own that she is engaged to Nick Gordon -- Whitney Houston's unofficial adopted son. This apparently is the premise of the reality series: How Whitney Houston's relatives are coping with her death by dealing with her daughter's pseudo-incest.

WHITNEY HOUSTON's teenage daughter BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN has confirmed her engagement to her boyfriend NICK GORDON in a new trailer for her family's upcoming reality TV show.

The 19 year old has grown increasing close to Gordon, who was informally adopted by Houston when he was 12, following the death of her superstar mum in February (12) and they first sparked rumors they were heading down the aisle in March (12), when Brown was snapped with a diamond sparkler on her ring finger.

The marriage speculation was denied and a representative for Brown was forced to dismiss fresh reports of a proposal in August (12) after the couple tweeted a picture of the teen wearing what appeared to be a diamond and sapphire engagement ring.

However, it appears speculation about an impending wedding are true after all - preview footage for The Houstons: On Our Own shows Brown and Gordon nervously announcing, "We're engaged!" to shocked family members.

However, the news has not been well-received by relatives - the youngster's aunt, Pat Houston, brands the news "unacceptable", while an uncle tells Gordon, "No one knew that from a godson, you would turn into a boyfriend, nobody knew that."

A defiant Brown, the daughter of bad boy singer Bobby Brown, later responds: "They wanna see us fail. I've got one thing to say: 'You won't!'
