Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Expecting First Child
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are going to be parents!
The actress announced on her official website that she is expecting her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds. And she's already got a baby bump to show for it!
Accompanying the official announcement was a photo of Lively against a sunset backdrop, with her hands to her bump. It's an absolutely gorgeous photo. Check it out below along with the official announcement from Lively's lifestyle website, Preserve.
“With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all, to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of the family,” reads the post, which celebrates the creation of families. The post proceeds to then display a series of shots of pregnant women, culminating with the reveal of Lively and her baby bump in a photo snapped by brother Eric Lively.

The news comes not long after Lively discussed possibilities of starting a family with Reynolds, telling Vogue in July that Reynolds will be "a great father and leader and patriarch — he's so meant to be all of those things." Lively also told Marie Claire just last month about her plans for a large family. "If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would," said the actress, who married Reynolds in 2012 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, after a year of dating. The couple met on the set of Green Lantern, and honestly, the marriage and this child just might be the only good thing to come out of that movie.
