Black man buys $300 000 house for $16 and White neighbors are angry

Kenneth Robinson takes advantage of an adverse possession law in Texas but his neighbors are angry. I am pretty sure he is going to win this case and his new neighbors can just suck it.

Kenneth took possession of the foreclosed $300K house after the owner left and the mortage company went out of business. He set up camp in the living room and filed paperwork for $16. If he stays in the house for 3 years, he can ask the court to give him the title.

As it stands, he already owns the house because the only way that he can get kicked out is if the original owners pay the bank the mortgage owed and the bank has to file a complicated lawsuit. Obviously neither is likely since the house has been abandoned for non-payment. And if the bank has not acted on trying to get him evicted, they have already calculated that the house is "not worth" the effort to recoup. (We'll see what happens in 3 years).

Genius! See? Look what a little research can do for you?

Meanwhile his white "rich" neighbors are angry that someone just swoops in to claim a house without doling out the cash. Well, he's just smarter than you all. They don't even have rights to the house, so why are they complaining?
