Big Brother 16 Recap: HOH and Eviction Results for 07/31/2014
Who went home on Big Brother 16 on July 31, 2014? Who won the Head of Household competition for Week 6? What is the new mission for Team America?
Here are the results for Week 5 eviction night.
Quick Summary
Frankie and Zach were the Heads of Household. Frankie nominated Victoria and Jocasta. Zach nominated Christine and Nicole. Christine and Nicole won the Battle of the Block. Zach was dethroned. Hayden won the Power of Veto. He used the POV to save Victoria. Frankie nominated Amber as the replacement nominee.
It was Operation Backdoor Amber all the way this week and we shall see if the house follows through. Team America failed in their mission this week and a new mission will be revealed tonight.
Derrick learned that his grandfather died last Friday.
Rickey.org readers choose Amber to go home tonight.
Live Show Recap
(updates as they happen)
Julie Chen plays up the next Team America challenge. Will it happen during the vote?
Apparently, Caleb has no idea that Amber getting backdoored this week is really a plan. He thinks that she is on the block just to scare her.
When Caleb learns about the real plan, he gets upset. Everyone does damage control as the Detonators are literally manipulating the emotions of both Caleb and Amber.
Looks like Team America will get their mission before the night is over.
Team America Mission
Vote against the majority of the house. (OMG I voted for this!) I thought that this mission was for the next week, not tonight. Interesting.
Will they do it? Donny wants to decline. Let's see what happens in the live vote.
Final Statements
Amber said that she loves everyone and that she played an honest and loyal game.
Jocasta praised god. She said the she prays for everyone every night.
OK.

HOH Spoilers
Nicole and Donny are the new Heads of Household!
The last question involved seconds.
This is the best HOH ever with Donny! I am so excited!!!
More spoilers tomorrow and the weekend for Nominations and Battle of the Block!
Live Feed Update:
Nicole and Donny have started meeting and want to include Hayden in their talks.
The Detonators are not safe at all this week and I think that at least one of them will go home next week. For the first time this season, all the power is on the non-dominant alliance.
Donny plans to shave his beard in the next two weeks. He plans to make it a big event.
