Big Brother 13 - HOH Winner and Nominations - 07/31/2011

In tonight's episode of Big Brother 13, the winner of last Thursday's HOH competition is revealed -- and the nominations.

After 1 hour and 40 plus minutes on the BB "ski slope" challenge, Dani emerges as the last person standing and is the new HOH. This is a great result for a Dom fan like me! Go Dani!

The other houseguests immediately try to talk to Dani in hopes of not getting nominated. Dani tells Jeff and Jordan that they are safe. Rachel and Brendon beg not to be nominated and try to make a deal.

In the end, Dani nominates Brendon and Rachel.

Basically Dani tells the truth: Brendon and Rachel drew the first sword by throwing Dani under the bus when they plotted to get rid of Jeff last week.

Brendon is a bit delusional in thinking that the Vets will go after Dani if "one of them" is evicted. I guess he doesn't realize that the house votes who to evict -- and Jeff and Jordan play for themselves not the alliance. They're not going to share the money in the end, so why play that way?

I'm a bit worried for Dani next week, but for now:

Who will win POV? Who will be evicted on Thursday?

Big Brother 13 got interesting again!

P.S. I post Big Brother spoilers as they happen: HOH on Thursday, Nominations on Friday, POV Competition on Saturday, POV Ceremony on Monday - check the blog often!
