The George Zimmerman verdict continues to affect citizens and celebrities alike.
During a concert in Nashville on Saturday, Beyonce interrupted her own show to have a moment of silence in honor of Trayvon Martin after news broke that jurors had found his shooter, George Zimmerman, not guilty.
The singer learned of the verdict roughly 30 minutes before taking the stage, as the news quickly spread that Zimmerman had been acquitted of both the 2nd degree murder charge and manslaughter charge in the shooting death of the 17-year-old Martin.
After holding the moment of silence, Beyonce sang the chorus of "I Will Always Love You", before seguing into her own well-known ballad, "Halo".
