Beyonce Debuts "I was Here" Video for World Humanitarian Day

Beyonce has released her video for the song "I was Here" as part of her World Humanitarian Day campaign.

August 19th is World Humanitarian day.  As a "celebration of humanitarian work across the globe," the UN held an event that featured the pop diva on August 10th.

Beyonce's "I was Here" video features imagery from that event and is one of the lynch pin features of the social media campaign designed to inspire people to get out and do something good for someone else.

I like the idea behind the campaign and think it's an interesting use of social media.  You can read more about the campaign at the World Humanitarian Day website.  I also enjoyed the song and video and think this one of Beyonce's prettier vocal performances.
