'Better Call Saul' Gets a Brief Teaser, Release Date (VIDEO)
If you loved Breaking Bad, then creator Vince Gilligan is hoping you'll love Better Call Saul, the spinoff centered on self-described "criminal lawyer" -- emphasis on criminal -- Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).
"Lawyers, we’re like health insurance," Saul says in the clip, which aired on AMC over the weekend. "You hope you never need it, but man oh man, not having it? No." We then get a reveal that the show has a proposed release date of February 2015.
Of course, because AMC is a cruel mistress, it hasn't actually released the clip proper, as of press time. So if you weren't watching the network over the weekend, you probably missed it altogether, which is why we now have to rely on people recording the video off of their TVs. I hope you're happy with yourself, AMC. I'm going to teach you a lesson by...still watching Better Call Saul when it releases in February 2015. (What can I say? I'm a weak man when it comes to Breaking Bad)
UPDATE: AMC has finally released the official teaser, so you don't have to rely on grainy shots from a TV. Still, we thank that person for their diligence. Check out the teaser clip below:
