Benjamin Bratt Joins '24: Live Another Day'

24: Live Another Day is adding a Law & Order vet.

Benjamin Bratt has joined the cast of the FOX limited series in the role of Steve Harris, the head of CIA operations tracking Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in London. Joining Harris's team are resourceful CIA agent Kate (Yvonne Strahovski), smooth computer tech Jordan (Giles Matthey), and arrogant field operative Erik (Gbenga Akinnagbe). Bratt joins a cast of newcomers that already includes Judy Davis, and veterans Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, and Kim Raver.

Production is scheduled to begin in London next month, so I suppose FOX isn't expecting it to take very long to produce, given that the series is set to debut in May. The two-hour premiere of the 13-episode limited series is set to bow on May 5, before the show settles into its regular time slot on Monday, May 12 at 9 p.m., reclaiming its classic time slot. (Because everything old is new again. And rightfully so, dammit!)
