AMAs ("Ask Me Anything") on Reddit are a wondrous and weird place for fans to talk to their celebrity loves. And apparently when Benedict Cumberbatch is the guest he makes things even weirder than usual with his talk of orgies with Matt Smith and Tom Hiddleston.

And we loved every second of it.

The Sherlock star took part in the AMA to promote his film The Fifth Estate, but you're kidding yourself if you think that's what people wanted to talk about.

For example, one cheekier questioner asked, "Do you, Matt smith, and Tom Hiddleton have cheek bone polishing parties?"

And in an answer that would drive Tumblr to simultaneous orgasm, he responded of the current incarnation of the Doctor and Loki, "We like nothing better than buffing our Zygoma. And imagining a horny time traveling long overcoat purple scarf wearing super sleuth nordic legend f*ck fantasy. Get to work on that, internet."

After everyone lost their collective ish, the fan art started coming in with Cumberbatch being drawn to the work below in particular.

In response, he asked the Redditer, "Why does Matt have the hammer? Sure it's the wrong household tool? Shouldn't it be a sonic toothbrush with a screwdriver on the end of it? And what's Simon Pegg doing staring at my abundant locks? And where's his right hand?"

As for his weirdest fan encounter, that would have to be with crazed fan Ted Danson.

As Cumberbatch recalled of the event, it involved: "Ted Danson at a pre-Oscar party screaming across a floor of people like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ray Liotta, Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, et al while pushing past them and knocking their drinks. [screaming] 'OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! IT'S F*CKING SHERLOCK HOLMES!'"
