Benedict Cumberbatch Was Pretty Drunk at the GQ Awards - VIDEO

Benedict Cumberbatch was at the GQ Men of the Year Awards this week and due to a little bit of a communication error, ended up accepting the Actor of the Year Award while inebriated.

To  summarize, due to an error in the programming, he thought he was going onstage a lot earlier and ended up spending the time awaiting his call drinking liquid courage.

So basically, he won an award and then everyone won because we got to watch him accept that award while super tipsy.

Bonus points for accidentally throwing shade at the cast of and overall existence of Downton Abbey.
