Ben Haenow sings 'Thinking Out Loud' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Ben Haenow sang 'Thinking Out Loud' on The X Factor UK Live Show 8 on November 29, 2014.

This was Ben's best performance of the competition, in my opinion. The arrangement wasn't noticeably different from the original, but what Ben's voice did with it resulted in a version of this song that sounded more bluesy than the original. Well, at least until the key change. Still, I thought this was absolutely beautiful, and showed that Ben is capable of tenderness amid all the rock-fueled vocals. I have no idea what Mel B was banging on about with all this talk of "light and shade," since this had plenty of softness to offset the grittiness. But then, I've never really gotten the impression that she likes Ben all that much, so it's whatever, I guess. As for this performance, I couldn't have been happier with how this turned out.

But what do you think of Ben Haenow?
