Ben Haenow sings 'Please Come Home For Christmas' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Ben Haenow sang 'Please Come Home For Christmas' on The X Factor UK Semifinals on December 6, 2014.

When this started, I found myself a bit disappointed, since I figured it was such a good fit for his voice that it really ought to have started out stronger than it did. But this really picked up as it went on. I mean, regardless of what Ben does tonight, he's pretty much a slam-dunk for the final, and I'd be shocked if he weren't the hands-down pick to win the competition. I didn't love this, but I did enjoy it. There were some audio issues where he wasn't entirely audible, but I thought Ben managed pretty well. The guy has heaps of talent, and by all reports, he's an absolute sweetheart, to where Cheryl even says he deserves this more than anyone (despite having a girl of her own still in the competition). It's inconceivable that Ben is headed anywhere else but to next week's final.

But what do you think of Ben Haenow?
