Ben Haenow sings 'Man In the Mirror' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Ben Haenow sang 'Man In the Mirror' on The X Factor UK Live Show 5 on November 8, 2014.

This was my favorite Ben Haenow performance so far, if only for that stunning a cappella opening. Seriously, that was a moment in itself. I kept expecting the music to kick in at any moment, but the a cappella portion kept going...and going...and going, to the point that I thought he might have actually been better served singing the entire thing without a backing track. He's that good of a singer, with a unique of a voice that it would have been something completely different and unexpected. But even as it was, I thought it was a real moment for Ben and for this season as a whole. I'm not saying it was flawless or anything, but the rawness of Ben's vocals is what made this as compelling as it ended up being. He's not a perfect singer, but he's got passion and grit and realness, and that's what I love about him.

But what do you think of Ben Haenow?
