Ben Haenow sings 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Ben Haenow sang 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' on The X Factor UK Live Show 3 on October 25, 2014.

I actually agreed with Simon here. Even though I liked the vocal, I thought this was the wrong song for Ben. His voice sounded a bit hoarse in places, and he didn't really hit every note he went for. That said, it was still better than a sizable fraction of the performances tonight, so it should be enough to get him through to next week. Unless, of course, voters feel his pre-performance video package showed too much attitude, between going after Mel B and her category over her comments last week ("Maybe she's just threatened by me") to rejecting Simon's original song choice ("You've Lost That Loving Feeling") for being boring, it just seemed like Ben was coming across as a guy with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. However, this was probably taken care of by Louis noting, in his critique, that Ben is the nicest guy in the X Factor house, with Simon adding that Ben is one of the nicest people he's ever worked with. So I doubt Ben is going to be in any real trouble tomorrow night, nor should he be, despite -- in my opinion -- the underwhelming nature of this performance.

But what do you think of Ben Haenow?
