Ben Folds performs "Why Can't We Be Friends" with Nota and Beelzebubs on The Sing-Off Finale.

If Simon Cowell does indeed leave American Idol after 2010, then I nominate Ben Folds to replace him. The show will change though. It will be less about marketing and more about singing. Ben along with Shawn Stockman made so much sense while judging The Sing-Off -- and they are so likable.

NBC should get more guts and start a new singing show with these two, or at least promise to bring The Sing-Off back for another season.
