Ben Affleck visited Lindsay Lohan in Rehab

TMZ reports that Lindsay Lohan received an encouraging visit during her recent stay in rehab.

Oscar winner Ben Affleck reportedly had a secret meeting with the troubled starlet to show his support.

Affleck, who is familiar with the trials of rehab from his own stay back in 2001, met with Lohan outside the Cliffside rehab facility in Malibu where she was receiving treatment. The director/producer/star of the Oscar-winning Argo offered his advice and guidance on how to maintain sobriety post-rehab, in addition to offering tips on how to make a comeback in Hollywood.

Ben also reportedly encouraged Lindsay with talk of her natural talent and the ability she possesses to turn things around, adding that the entertainment community can be genuinely supportive for people who make an honest effort to get clean and stay clean. Sources say the 27-year-old actress was really touched by the meeting, and by Affleck's support.

However, the meeting was strictly personal. Lohan will not be appearing in Affleck's new movie, Live By Night. But all comebacks take time.
