'Beauty and the Beast' Renewed for Season 3

OH MY GOD! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! YES, DAMMIT! YES!

Okay, okay, I'm calm now. Kind of.

Yes, it's true. The CW has decided to save Beauty and the Beast, granting the show a third season after what's basically amounted to a last-ditch campaign from fans around the globe. It's unknown how many episodes the series has been renewed for, but it's expected to be far less than the usual 22. There are rumors that it has been moved to Fridays in the summer with Hart of Dixie, but such a move hasn't been confirmed just yet. Either way, I'll take what I can get. I mean, this is pretty much a win, in my book. Especially with how touch-and-go things seemed for a while.

Anyway, sorry if my enthusiasm is hyperbolic, but The CW more or less just made my entire year. Congrats to Beasties everywhere, and well-done on getting the show a third season. And congrats to the cast and crew of Beauty and the Beast, who bring this thing to life every week in the first place. Bring on June 2nd!
