BBC Confirms 'Sherlock' Special + Three New Episodes
Hot on the heels of news that co-star Martin Freeman was confident that Sherlock would return for a Christmas special in 2015 comes confirmation from BBC directly.
The network has verified via Twitter that Sherlock will not only return with an all-new special to be filmed in 2015, but it will be followed by three new episodes. No word on when the special or the new episodes would air, but given Freeman's comments, it seems like we might finally be getting the long-rumored Christmas special, with Season 4 following in early 2016.
