Kevin Smith Promises No Bat-Nipples on Ben Affleck's Batsuit

So here's a positive for the upcoming Ben Affleck as Batman movie: according to filmmaker Kevin Smith the Batsuit is sans bat nipples.

Smith happened to be visiting Zack Snyder when he saw a prototype for Batman's newest costume as well as a snap of Affleck suited up.

"I saw the Batman costume," Smith teased in a recent podcast. "I don't want to give anything away 'cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this: I instantly bear hugged [Snyder]."

"You have not seen this costume on film before. For a comic book fan, it was mind-bending, because every other movie does this Matrix-y black armor thing. There wasn't a single nipple on this suit. I think everyone is just gonna be like ‘Holy shit!'"

Mr. Smith is of course referring to the disastrous 1997 George Clooney film Batman and Robin (hands down the worst Batman movie of all time), and not just because the batsuit had its own nipples. Although that was definitely a factor.

So yeah, you win this round Zack Snyder.
