The Band Perry's 'If I Die Young' To Honor Cory Monteith On Glee

The Band Perry's 'If I Die Young' will be used to honor Cory Monteith on an upcoming episode of Glee.

On Thursday, October 10, the 'The Quarterback' episode will feature a tribute to the actor who was in the cast of the show before he died from addiction problems, aged just 32.

Naya Rivera (Santana) will perform the song on the episode, which will also include covers such as 'Make You Feel My Love', 'Seasons of Love' and 'I'll Stand By You' among others. You can hear the performance in advance of the episode and get more information here.

'If I Die Young' pretty much launched The Band Perry's career, and its meaning and southern gothic stylings seem appropriate for such a horrible tragedy.

I'm sure fans will be bawling from start to end.
