Band Aid 30 releases 'Do The Know It's Christmas' official video

Band Aid 30 has released the official video of "Do They Know It's Christmas".

The artists on the track include Bono, One Direction, Sam Smith, Seal, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin (of Coldplay) and Sinead O'Connor.

Wait, no Adele? This is horrible.

They couldn't even get Jessie J to belt. Instead they got Rita Ora.

I prefer the original. This was such a bad cover. It sounded so... uninspired.

And their "big get" was One Direction who shared the first lines -- and that's it. So they can't sing solos? What's going on here.

This is kinda like a testament to how bad music has fallen from when the original "Do They Know It's Christmas" came out. If this is the best UK can do (and mind you I LOVE Sam Smith), truly how music has fallen. The supergroup that sang "Voices That Care" in the early 90's was so much better than this, and that was even way below the original Band Aid and USA For Africa. It might be better than "Tears Are Not Enough" by the Canadian supergroup Northern Lights though.

The video first premiered during The X Factor UK results show on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Instead of hunger, the charity is raising funds for Ebola in Africa.
