BAFTA Awards 2014 - Winners List
It's the biggest night in film in the UK, as the EE British Academy Film Awards, or the BAFTAs, are underway! It's an all-out race for Best Film between 12 Years a Slave, American Hustle, Captain Phillips, Gravity, and Philomena. But there are plenty of other races in hot contention for BAFTA honors, as films and actors attempt to gain Oscar traction: in a rare occurrence, the BAFTA Awards are coinciding with Oscar voting! Aside from being one of the biggest honors in all of film, the BAFTA could now be one of the biggest harbingers for what's to come on Oscar night, which is great news for the winners, and bad news for the Oscar nominees who were snubbed (Matthew McConaughey, June Squibb, Jonah Hill). Of course, it's still a wide-open race.
So which films and performances have won at the BAFTA Awards 2014? Keep refreshing, as I'll be live-updating the results as they are announced!
