BAFTA Awards 2014 - Full Nominations
Nominees for the BAFTA Awards 2014 are in, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts has selected an impressive collection of critical favorites for its equivalent to the Oscar. Gravity is at the top of the heap with 11 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron, and Best Actress for Sandra Bullock. Following close behind are 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle with 10 nominations apiece. Completing the Best Picture category are Captain Phillips with nine nods, and Philomena (such a great movie) with four. The BAFTA Awards will be held on February 16, 2014, from the Royal Opera House in London.
