'Bachelor In Paradise' Renewed for a Second Season

By Nick Roman ·

One of the crazier reality shows this season has been Bachelor In Paradise, which just wrapped its first season with an explosive, dramatic season finale. But luckily, for fans of the show, this season isn't the end for the show.

Host Chris Harrison confirmed, via Twitter, that the show would be returning for a second season.

The show is the latest in the continuation of ABC's venerable Bachelor franchise, which has not only given us The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but the competition series Bachelor Pad, which ran for three seasons and featured former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants competing for a $250,000 grand prize -- which makes it different from every other show in the franchise so far.

Of course, no monetary prize was involved in Bachelor In Paradise, just the chance to find love. Whether that's worth more or less than money is entirely subjective, but one thing is for certain: it made for some wild television.
