Avril Lavigne Hints at Health Problems, Asks Fan for Prayers

Based on a recent discussion with a fan, Avril Lavigne has hinted that she is suffering from (as of yet) undisclosed health issues, even asking the fan in question to pray for her.

It all started when a fan asked Avril via DM if she was planning to release more music.

To which Lavigne replied, "I feel bad because I haven’t been able to say anything to the fans to let them no [sic] why I’ve been absent. I’m torn as I’m quite private…. I’m not feeling well. I’m having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers."

The fan promptly replied.

A rep for Lavigne confirmed that the exchange was real and while they could not reveal the health issues, they did say that Lavigne is not pregnant.
